Giovanni Battista Mazza

He is active as a concert artist, first as organist - in 1986 he was first prize winner in the “Giovani organisti d'Europa” (Young European Organists) International Competition in Pisa - then as conductor, in collaboration with such prestigious institutions as the Fondazione Arena di Verona, the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra Milano Classica, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the Teatro Comunale of Ferrara, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi.
He has also taken part in important Festivals and Exhibitions in many European countries in collaboration with orchestras and soloists of international fame. His début in the operatic field was in the Ukraine, conducting Puccini's “La Bohème” at the Dniepropetrovsk Opera House.
